Hackettstown Rotary was delighted to be able to present a donation in sponsorship of the current Warren County Habitat for Humanity build at 22 Beidleman Road, on which several Rotary members worked this fall!

Scholarships Awarded!
Congratulations to FRANCESCA CARTAGENA and ISABELLA CETANI, recipients of the 2022 Robert T. Quade awarded to Hackettstown HS students who exemplified the highest standards of leadership, community service and academic excellence.
Each student receives an award of $1000, toward their continued educational goals.

Hackettstown Rotary enjoys busy day at fall Shredding Fundraiser event!
The biannual Rotary Shredding event was held on Oct 16 in the Fulton Bank parking lot on Mountain Ave in Hackettstown. 
Rotarians were greeted by steady stream of happy customers throughout the morning. 
Special Thanks goes out to Abilities of NW NJ, who were on hand to collect unwanted electronics
and E-waste,
and DASACC collected gently used coats for the coming winter months!
Over $1500 was raised by the day's event!
 
    
Thanksgiving Food Drive Success!
Rotary members celebrate the 100th turkey collected on Nov 20, for the 2021 Holiday Food Drive! 
Total Tally for the day: 
*108 turkeys totaling 1,735 pounds 
*Non-perishable food totaling 2,661 pounds
*Cash, checks and gift cards totaling $2,864.01
SPECIAL THANKS to the extraordinary community that showed their generosity with flying colors!

CASA Shaw of Warren County (Assisting Children in Foster Care and advocating for them in Court)
Habitat for Humanity (Helping local families with building new homes or assisting in fixing their current home)
Lord's Pantry at Trinity Methodist Church (Food Bank serving the local community)
Smiles for Margaret (helping families with children battling a terminal illness)

Our Impact in the community!

Our, Hackettstown community, since March 29, 2020 - FLAG – Frontline Appreciation Group of Hackettstown, in partnership with Hackettstown Rotary Foundation, WRNJ, and YOU, have helped and supported to have meals sent to the front-line staff of nurses, doctors, technicians and support staff at Hackettstown Medical Center who are caring for our communities during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Your donation helped purchase meals from Hackettstown area restaurants and takeout facilities, to be delivered to these hard-working individuals. One small gesture can show gratitude in many ways. A win-win for all! Thank you!
