President Alan Feldman of the Brandon Club was also in attendance and TDC provided accommodation for him and his partner-in-service.
President Leah thanked the Hackettstown, NJ Club for considering St Kitts for the ambulance; SL Horsford and Co Ltd, local agents for Bernuth Lines and Innovative Transport for absorbing the shipping cost for the ambulance; Hobson Enterprises for brokerage services; and Keith Hicks for cleaning the ambulance. She also thanked the Brandon and Kannapolis Clubs for heeding to her call when asked to supply an EKG for the health centres. She indicated that the need for these machines was identified during the planning stages of the Diabetes Day Camp in November last year.
